Eyelid swelling: My husband has an annoying colleague who talks non-stop. He had to go with her to install an appliance (she works in sales and he works in engineering). It was a 4-hour trip there and 4-hour return. 2 days after he got home, he developed a swelling on his left eye, right on the side where they sat in the car, while she was driving. He didn't stress, he knew from me that it's when you don't want to see something. He didn't want to see her. He really dislikes her. She's a very tiring person. She simply can't shut up and talks non-stop about all kinds of nonsense, just to fill the time with something. He stayed silent the whole way back and the girl choked because he wouldn't talk to her.
I explained the situation to my husband (that he didn't want to see her in the car anymore and the swelling appeared during the healing phase when he didn't talk about it anymore) and that same evening after I spoke to him, a few hours later, the swelling completely disappeared. I'm surprised he didn't have any problems with his ears from all that talking. He's probably more sensitive to sight than hearing. Her face annoys him more than her voice :)
